Hi Friends

Thank you for your love and prayers the past few days. It's been a tough road, but today I feel that I have turned a corner. Today I had an Armenian nurse come in and poke my stomach--she told me I should do it, too! I'm not so sure I want to take her up on that. Then I went outside for a walk. The Albuquerque sunshine is always therapeutic. My family has been a source of constant comfort. I am still physically weak but my spirit is strong.

I'll check in with you soon. I know that God's good hand is with me every second of this journey.

Love,
Lenya

  2. Praise God for a better day Lenya!

I don't blame you for not wanting to poke your already pained stomach!

BTW ~ The beautiful necklace you gave me gives me that extra reminder to pray for you! I've received many compliments on it, so thank you! I love it!!! Still praying!!

  3. Hello Lenya,
I am so glad to hear that you are doing better and even got to take a walk outdoors. I had this same surgery 10 years ago and I know the pain that comes with it....but it will subside, praise God!!! My husband and I are continuing for your recovery. Praying you get to go home soon.....Blessings, Helen Berry

  4. Hi Lenya, I wanted to share with you what I 'think' the LORD Jesus told me yesterday:
"You will be able to do what you need to do, when the time comes, because I will enable you to fulfill My Purposes. I will give you the GRACE to reflect Me. Don't worry, live in My Joy and My Peace."
Along with Psalm 18, but especially vv. 1 & 29: "I will love You, O LORD, my strength....For by You I can run against/through a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall."
Love in Jesus, "What a Mighty God we Serve!"
